ROYAL SUN ALLIANCE - 400+ EXECS, 6 LOCATIONS, 1 CEO
BACKGROUND
Every November insurer Royal Sun Alliance brings together 400+ execs for an important day of planning and consultation.
To give the day a more intimate feel for all those involved, the participants are split up into six groups and spread out across three locations around the country.
At key moments in the day we bring the groups together, live via satellite, to present their ideas and share feedback from discussions. The day concludes with UK CEO Adrian Brown taking the 'hot seat' in London for a gloves-off Q&A session between all of the locations.
PLANNING
The BLINK production team begins planning proper 2-3 weeks prior to the event, scheduling crew and equipment, inspecting the venues and thrashing out the running order for the day with RSA's agency Incredible.
Rigging begins the day before the event when we deploy:
- 3 satellite trucks
- 7 camera units
- 22 crew
The evening before we conduct a live technical rehearsal which is repeated, with the client present, the following morning.
CONCLUSION
This is the third year that BLINK has been asked to orchestrate the broadcast and once again it has been a tremendous success.
